  • You live, work or worship within First Coast Federal Credit Union’s geographic under-served area of Duval county
  • Have a family member who is currently a member
  • You are an employee or retired employee of one of our SEG’s (Select Employee Groups)

You must be 18 years of age will need the following items to proceed:

  • U.S. Driver’s License, Passport or State ID
  • U.S. Social Security Number
  • U.S. Citizenship or Resident alien status
  • Access to a scanner to upload your ID

If you do not wish to conduct business with us or receive electronic communications for us, you may apply for your account in person by visiting our branch.

Your primary account to begin a membership with First Coast Federal Credit Union!  Share accounts require a $5.00 minimum balance that allows you to take advantage of all other credit union services.

There is no minimum balance to open a share draft account, however, to avoid a $5.00 monthly service charge fee you must maintain a $55.00 balance.  With a share draft account you may also be eligible for a MasterCard debit card, free bill pay, internet banking, mobile wallet and mobile app, live audio teller balances and transfers.

Once we have received your membership application, we will verify you are an eligible member and contact you at the phone number listed to receive your initial deposit using a VISA or MasterCard.  You may also visit our branch to make your deposit.

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.  What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you.  We may also ask to see your driver’s license other identifying documents.
